Mission Statement

The Business Against Crime Eastern Cape, representing business, will support / partner Government in combating crime and the causes thereof to provide a safe and secure province with the lowest crime levels in South Africa.

Business Against Crime Eastern Cape seeks to support Government's efforts on a provincial level, by complementing its resources with the considerable entrepreneurial, managerial and technological skills resident in our member companies.

The positioning of Business Against Crime Eastern Cape as a project driven initiative, focusing on the Integrated Justice System Priority Project, has been realised over the past two years.

The greatest impact made by Business Against Crime Eastern Cape is the facilitation of the integrated approach to problem solving within the Criminal Justice System, comprising the South African Police Service and the Departments of Justice, Correctional Services and Social Development.
